Karishma and Michael chose to celebrate their upcoming wedding by taking spring engagement photos in Central Park in New York City. Central Park is a quintessential location of the New York City experience, known to many for gorgeous walking paths, lush landscaping, and beautiful views of New York City.

In the spring, Central Park is famous for cherry blossoms as well as other types of flowers blooming after the long winter. Tourists flock from all over the world to witness the vibrant whites and pinks decorating the greens. There are many iconic locations throughout Central Park, like Bow Bridge, the Mall and Literary Walk, the Loeb Boathouse, and the Great Lawn. Between these landmark locations are hidden walking paths that are a true escape from the sounds of the city.

Karishma and Michael chose to have their engagement photos taken at Central Park because New York City plays such an important role in the formation of their relationship. Having met in college, both Karishma and Michael had accepted jobs in New York City where they continued their relationship. They would buy Levain cookies and have lunch dates at the Ladies Pavilion before strolling along the walking paths before returning back to their work days.

The best style suggestion when planning outfits for spring engagement photos is to look for colors that best compliment your environment. And if you’re the bride, it’s always fun to wear white! Karishma found her dream engagement photo dress at Reformation, a very highly recommended store to find timeless yet chic attire. Michael chose his outfit based on the gorgeous spring colors of Central Park, as well as looking to his closet to find items that best fit him and his personality.
