Kate and Darren had a gorgeous summer wedding at Camp Hale in Vail, Colorado. Camp Hale is a gorgeous wedding venue with a lot of land and a permanent outdoor tent for receptions. For ceremonies, couples say their vows in the middle of a grassy island which creates a truly serene environment. Once your guests arrive at the property, they are there to stay. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception space are all within walking distance.

Another amazing thing about Camp Hale Weddings is that couples have the opportunity to venture in a 4WD Jeep up to the top of the mountain. This makes for a beautiful opportunity to capture gorgeous mountain photos that you wouldn’t be able to capture otherwise. Most couples choose to have a first look, and then venture to the top of the mountain for some portraits all before the ceremony. That allows for more time for the couple to enjoy guests during cocktail hour.

Getting married in Vail, Colorado was very important to Kate and Darren. The mountains have always inspired them, and they wanted to create a guest experience where family and friends could immerse themselves in the weekend. Guests partook in activities like hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and sunrise yoga all as a part of the wedding weekend. Even at Camp Hale, guests enjoyed activities such as archery and fly fishing during cocktail hour.
