Breckenridge Mountain Engagement

Niki and Anthony’s engagement session in Breckenridge, Colorado was absolutely stunning! When Niki approached me with the idea of heading into the mountains to capture this memory, I was all in. Who could say no to these views?!

This view is only accessible after about a mile’s hike up a trailhead outside of Breckenridge, Colorado. The trail opens up to this beautiful view of Colorado in all its glory. Thankfully Niki, Anthony, and their dog Bacardi were up for the challenge! The adventure was very fitting once you get to know this incredibly kind couple.

Anthony and Niki met four years ago by chance at a small taco shop. With there being limited seating, the two found themselves bonding over delicious food and a strong need for adventure. Since that first encounter, these two have embraced the outdoors – hiking, jeeping, fly fishing, shooting, camping all throughout the world!

Niki and I first bonded over our love for travel – specifically New Zealand. We actually had our phone call consultation while I was in the airport waiting for my flight to New Zealand! Niki made sure to give all of the best recommendations for my trip (Fergburger in Queenstown is delicious!). As a couple, these two have traversed to many national parks and across the Pacific to Hawaii. In fact, Anthony proposed to Niki in Hawaii! Talk about a fitting engagement.

I cannot wait until next summer to celebrate these two becoming husband and wife. Anthony and Niki, you two are truly amazing!
