Telluride Colorado Fall Engagement Photos
Logan and Ben chose to celebrate their upcoming wedding by taking fall engagement photos in Telluride, Colorado. About seven hours from Denver is the beautiful mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. The journey to Telluride ski resort is well worth the drive, with breathtaking views and the changing leaves of the season.
During the fall, Telluride is home to some of the most gorgeous colors. Because Telluride is so close to Utah, there is a combination of aspen leaves changing from green to yellow, as well as brush plants decorating the horizon with deep red tones.

Logan and Ben chose to have their engagement photos taken in Telluride because Telluride is actually an important part of their love story. Logan’s family has strong connections with Telluride, with so many cherished memories taking place here. Since dating, Ben and Logan have begun to create memories of their own. They actually will be celebrating their wedding day in Telluride, Colorado as well!
For their Telluride fall engagement photos, Logan and Ben were very intentional with the outfits they styled. Logan’s two-piece set was actually purchased from a local boutique, making the outfit feel more with the story. Her second outfit included her favorite jeans and an overlay borrowed from her mother’s closet. Ben’s outfit choices were authentic to him, as he donned his favorite sport coat for his formal look, and accessorized with his signature Golden Goose sneakers for his casual look.
Because Telluride is so remote, there are many locations to choose from that feel very organic. The first location we photographed at is located near the valley floor of Telluride, providing a gorgeous symmetry of the two mountain ranges folding itogether. The second location is a scenic vista discovered from many hours of location scouting along back roads. The vista provides a gorgeous view of Mount Wilson, a signature of the Telluride skyline. Our third location involved a walk through Downtown Telluride, browsing the local boutiques.
