When dreaming of the most dramatic and beautiful backdrops in all of Colorado, Rocky Mountain National Park engagement photos come to mind. I could not imagine a better spot to capture Bri and Kyle’s love than the Rocky Mountains.
I sometimes forget how amazing it is that Rocky Mountain National Park is driving distance for most Colorado residents. Think about it – this is one of the United States’s most visited national parks, yet this is just in our backyard! Being able to explore the mountains from Moraine Park to Trail Ridge Road provides ample photo opportunities for couples wanting the state of Colorado to be a strong part of their engagement photos.
Bri and Kyle’s infectious joy made their photos so much fun. Almost every couple I photograph claims that they aren’t “good in front of the camera,” but let me let you in on a little secret – it’s easy to take photos when you’re with your best friend.
Most of the time when I take photos, I’m having you two interact with each other. You are giving hugs, you are holding hands, you are walking and admiring the stunning landscape of Rocky Mountain National Park. When you are with your best friend, the good vibes and natural smiles come out!
I’d love to note how amazing Bri and Kyle’s outfits were for their session. Who else thinks Bri should be a fashion stylist (or maybe she should help style all of my engagement sessions!)? Regardless, I love when the looks a couple chooses to wear matches the backdrop. For Rocky Mountain National Park, that translates to soft pastels and florals for the more casual outfit. For the more formal outfit, a romantic, flowing dress is perfect.. Both of these looks are enhanced by the majestic mountains surrounding the couple.
